MATEMÁTICAS SINGAPUR. TEMA 13 SESIÓN 2: Escribir años en números romanos.

Hola de nuevo.

¡Hoy terminamos la penúltima semana de este curso! Estamos a punto de acabar. Pero aún podemos aprender algo nuevo de los números romanos. ¿Te apuntas?

¡Ánimo y adelante!

En esta unidad estamos descubriendo más cosas de los números que utilizaban los romanos. Hoy en día se usan en muchas ocasiones, como para nombrar los siglos (siglo XXI), a los reyes (Felipe VI), a los papas (Francisco I), los aniversarios, las olimpiadas, los congresos, los capítulos, en los relojes, los actos de las obras de teatro…

Conocimientos previos: recordamos conceptos aprendidos.

Recuerda que en los números romanos no existe el 0 ni el valor posicional de las cifras.

Usan diferentes letras o combinaciones de letras, también para representar números grandes.

No olvides cómo se forman algunos números:

40	…se forma haciendo…	10 menos que 50
90	…se forma haciendo…	10 menos que 100
400	…se forma haciendo…	100 menos que 500
900	…se forma haciendo…	100 menos que 1.000
…	…se forma haciendo…	…menos que …

No se repite la misma letra más de tres veces seguidas: si fuera necesario, se aplica la regla de la resta a la siguiente letra con más valor.

Hoy es miércoles 10 de junio y comenzamos un tema nuevo que va a ser muy cortito y que trata sobre NÚMEROS ROMANOS. 

¿Cuál es nuestro objetivo de hoy?¿Qué materiales vamos a necesitar?

Quizás te pueda ayudar a resolverlo las siguientes preguntas:

- Si el símbolo 1 es I. ¿Cómo escribían los romanos el dos y el tres?

- Si el símbolo 10 es X. ¿Cómo escribían los romanos el 20 y el 30?

- Entonces, si C es 100. ¿Cómo escribían los romanos el 200 y el 300?

- Tengo un amigo que me dice que, como los números 40 se forman haciendo, respectivamente, 10 menos que 50 y 90 menos que 100, los números 400 y 900 también se deberán formar siguiendo la misma regla. ¿Qué quiere decir?
